French Tuesdays is very excited to co-host the first ever Dîner en Blanc in Los Angeles with Karala Law firm and Dîner en Blanc International. Le Dîner en Blanc – Los Angeles powered by French Tuesdays is the epitome of fine dining, elegance and festivities in a very convivial ambience. This unique epicurean phenomenon has continued to astound people with its magic for the last 25 years, and 2013 marked the 25th anniversary of the first ever Dîner en Blanc event.

In 2003, the self-made-man Gilles Amsallem launched “French Tuesdays” with his friend Pierre Battu. 10 years later, this members-only social network has close to 35,000 members around the world. Gilles heard about “Dîner en Blanc” around 15 years ago, and fell in love with the unique concept because it has style and elegance in common with French Tuesdays.
 
French Tuesdays knows the secret recipe of offering “unforgettable experiences” to its guests which is when they first co-produced Dîner en Blanc - New York in 2012 which was greatly appreciated by everyone. It created a great deal of excitement and curiosity among the French Tuesdays members and friends for the venue for the mass chic picnic is kept secret until the very last moment and we are delighted to see their overwhelming response since the schedule for 2013 in LA was announced!

Sunny Kalara, a scientist and an attorney specializing in intellectual property law, first came across this fabulous Dîner en Blanc event in a news story. When he saw the visually stunning images of the event, he was mesmerized by its elegance and was dazzled by the grace and grandeur of the event. There must be a similar event in LA, and with a dream of a white dinner picnic under the California moon, he reached out to the organizers to bring the party to Los Angeles. 
 
The Kalara Law Firm, the firm Sunny founded, specializes in Business, IP, Estate Planning and Life Insurance law. The Firm currently serves as general counsel to the Dîner en Blanc International and is pleased to sponsor this fabulous event. It is an awe aspiring wonderfully whimsical event that so perfectly utilizes the exceptionally beautiful public spaces that Los Angeles has to offer. 
 
Another reason to rejoice the first edition of Dîner en Blanc - Los Angeles this year is that, we have on board Bordeaux wines as the exclusive wine partner. Past Los Angeles resident and Master Sommelier Richard Betts, known for his role in building the famed wine list of the Montagna at the Little Neil in Aspen, Colorado and for importing affordable and high quality Bordeaux to the United States, among other roles, will serve as the event's Sommelier.  Dîner en Blanc guests will have a chance to pair their gourmet picnic treats with some delicious white Bordeaux wines that will indeed highlight the essence of the night!

How does the "chance to pair" our food with their wine work? Are there free samples of the wine on site? Will they be selling bottles there? This is enticing, but I think we need more details.
